If you are being given driving directions in South Africa, and the man has just said, "Go over the robots and then turn left," you should not panic at the thought of passing over giant and possibly hostile statues of R2-D2. Nor should you continue driving for 20 miles waiting to see these statues before you actually turn left. No no. Just proceed to the next stoplight -- or as some people say, traffic light -- turn on your blinker, and remember to stop if the thing is red. Then turn left.
