If there's one small thing from home I miss a lot -- it's the abundance of chewing gum. In Peru, there are two to three popular brands of chewing gum (including those familiar childhood chiclets), but none of them has flavor that lasts more than 5 minutes. I am always excited to find a new brand of chewing gum here, and usually quickly find out that it's not very good. So, if you are a chewing gum fanatic like myself, pack a few packs of your favorite kind. You won't regret it!
