You're probably going to get lost in Belgrade

When trying to navigate the avenues of a new city, it usually helps to have a map. In Belgrade, not so much. In addition to roads twisting and turning, maps given to foreigners generally have street names in Latin letters, while street signs are written in Cyrillic. The naming of these boulevards have also become yet another contested ground for politics, meaning names change depending on who is in power. One local knew 7 names for the same street. Since 2000 (when then president of then Yugoslavia Slobodan Miloševic was overthrown) many streets are renamed every 2-3 years. The good news: Belgrade is a great city to get lost in.
