ChinaIf you happen to find yourself in the unfortunate situation of being in a "legitimate" cab with a rigged meter, do yourself a favor, and get them to stop as soon as possible. They'll act confused and naive and innocent, but do whatever it takes to get them to stop. Usually, it's just best to pay the fare, and wait for another cab to come by. In most situations, you'll be in a new area, where the chances of this happening are much slimmer.
