The old church in Dunedin offers dancing lessons every Wednesday night for those keen to learn some new moves. A fine goal, to be sure, for any guy new to the country. But be warned, for any man brave enough to rise to the challenge of dancing away the hour with a church full of sweaty-handed grannies, that you're in for a lesson in humility and perseverance. Those old grandmothers are not too tolerant if you don't nail the new move on the first try. Just be sure not to go to the intro-mediate lesson your first time (as I embarrassingly did)!
