The Silverback Mountain Gorilla. This one is absolutely massive and doesn't seem to care much about the nervous group of North Americans standing 3 feet from his hulking body. The silverbacks, named for the grayish-silverish hair on their um...backs, are at least 12 years old and weigh as much as 400 lbs. This dude was huge! (I frighteningly mentioned that a few times in the video)

A few members of the Sousa family, the biggest of all the mountain gorilla families in Volcanoes National Park.  Typically, getting close to the Sousas requires some serious hiking, sometimes as much as six hours through absurdly dense rain forest with muddy trails, lined with stinging nettles (plants that sting when you touch them - the level of pain is akin to a gentle bee sting).  It's all worth it though when your guide tells you you're close to the pack and you suddenly realize the air smells a bit more like your last trip to the  zoo, prompting you to stop and peer hard through the bush...and voila!  There's an overgrown animal of a species only somewhat genetically divergent from your own, chewing on some leaves and throwing his feces!
