The Sounds of Rwinkwavu
Rwinkwavu (called Rwink by the expats that frequent it or live there and pronounced Ringwav by native Kinyarwanda speakers) is a quiet little place in a poor town on the dirt road to Akagera National Park. There is also a sweet hospital there which specializes in treating people with HIV or TB.
Turn on your sound so you can hear the cacophony of bird chirping which permeates the air most mornings in Rwinkwavu. It's nice once you wake up and are out and about, but you'd be surprised at how annoying that beautiful sound can be if you're still trying to get some sleep!
