Correspondent Application

Please share work - either whole pieces or excerpts - that best demonstrate your ability to write about place, people, and / or culture. (between 5600 to 8400 characters)

All photography applicants should submit a link to an online photo album consisting of 20 to 25 photos. Your images can be of anything (domestic or abroad), as long as they are thoughtfully composed, in focus, and at a high enough resolution that they can be viewed in detail (no thumbnails!). We strongly recommend setting up a dedicated page on your personal blog or site, or setting up a gallery on Flickr, Picasa, Shutterfly, or Photobucket. Password-protected sites like Facebook are acceptable only if you can make your specific album public.

All video applicants should submit a link to an online video with a maximum length of three (3) minutes. Your video can be of anything (domestic or abroad), as long as it is tells a compelling story. Video must be uploaded to Vimeo.com or Youtube.com and must be public.

Why do you want to be a Glimpse Correspondent? How is it relevant to your overall progression as a student, writer, photographer, or journalist? What can you do via Glimpse correspondence that you couldn't do independently? (2800 character max)
