Chelsea Newson
I'm a military brat, twice over (my father and my step-father are both in the Navy, and always on opposite ends of the country). Traveling has become second nature to me, and a serious and unrelenting wanderlust has taken up residence in my soul. I love exploration and adventure, and enjoy all those things that seem to go along with it: reading, writing (especially this), photography, cooking and eating, running, hiking, biking, swimming, scuba diving, sky diving, camping, riding on trains, planes, and buses, meeting new people and animals, wandering, and wondering. I am an animal lover and am slightly obsessed with dogs, especially Mexican street dogs. I like to paint and I love to pack lightly. I can't get enough of Mexican food, curry, naan bread, and salmon of any form. My dreams are all far-away and dangerous; my mother hates them, my father loves them, and I feel so lucky to have the chance to live them.
