I'm a Spanish speaking, backpack wielding, six-foot gringa forging trails through Latin America. I run, hike, and am game to try anything new—even if that means a few bumps and bruises along the way. I'm currently living in a small town (population 500) on the Pacific coast in Nicaragua. When I'm not teaching English (game of choice: Simon says) my favorite pastime is writing about the hilarity of my endeavors (like trying to learn how to surf).
